We built CardMatch because most Canadian credit card comparison sites bury the math. We believe you deserve to see exactly how much each card earns you before you apply.
What We Do
We compare credit cards from major Canadian issuers — American Express, Scotiabank, TD, RBC, BMO, MBNA, and CIBC — across categories including cash back, travel rewards, balance transfer, and no-annual-fee cards.
Every page on CardMatch includes:
- Side-by-side card comparison with key rates and fees
- A personalized rewards calculator — enter your monthly spending to see your net annual value per card
- A 3-question quiz that recommends your best card based on spending habits
- Detailed FAQ sections written for Canadian cardholders
Our Values
How We Make Money
CardMatch is free to use and always will be. We earn revenue in two ways:
- Affiliate commissions: When you click "Apply Now" and are approved for a credit card, we may receive a commission from the card issuer. This has no effect on the interest rates, fees, or terms offered to you.
- Display advertising: We display Google AdSense ads on some pages. These are served by Google based on site context and your browsing history.

This compensation may impact which cards appear on the site, but it does not influence our editorial ratings, rankings, or reviews. Editorial Independence
Our card ratings are based on publicly available rates, fees, and features. No card issuer pays to be included on this site or to receive a higher rating. We do not accept sponsored editorial content.
